Times vary by type. A typical pre-purchase inspection is about 90 minutes; a practical completion inspection can take up to 2.5 hours.

Can I attend the inspection?
Yes — you are encouraged to attend. It lets you see the process and ask questions, and makes discussing the report easier on site. If you can’t stay for the whole inspection, aim for the last 30 minutes so we can review findings together.
Cancellation policy
Once an inspection is scheduled, please cancel in writing. Fees apply as follows:
- 3+ days’ notice: no cancellation fee
- Within 48 hours: 50%
- Within 24 hours: 75%
- On the day: 100%
If inspection payment was not received before the job and cancellation fees remain unpaid after 14 days of requests, the matter may go to a collection agency (extra recovery charges may apply).
We are happy to reschedule where possible — earliest notice helps. This policy aligns with ACCC / Competition and Consumer Act 2010 guidance (accc.gov.au).
